Aztech Technologies is seeking an Environmental / Geotechnical Driller to join our team.  This person will be responsible for collecting soil samples, drilling and operating various drilling equipment including a limited acces rig.

This person must maintain a professional attitude and appearance, be self motivated, work with limited supervision, and be able to identify solutions that solve customers’ needs.  They must also be able to work in a diverse team environment.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a CDL, as well as a High School or equivalent diploma.  Drill experience will include, installation of monitoring wells, collecting split spoons, logging blow counts and preparing field logs, collecting rock cores, air rotary drilling, and casing advancement via drive and wash or other methods.  Post secondary Technical / Mechanical training is a plus as is an OSHA 40-hour certification.  Good writing and verbal communication skills are required to document and report on projects as is the ability to lift 75 lbs.

This is a full time position, which will require work beyond the normal work day.  The candidate should be prepared to travel to out of town job sites 35-75% of the time.  Salary is commensurate with experience and includes benefits and opportunity for profit sharing.  Aztech is a casual, friendly, fun, and hard working environment in Ballston Spa, NY.
