Construction Field Observer

Growing, innovative full service environmental engineering firm is seeking two Construction Field Observers to join our team.  These individuals will be responsible for oversight of environmental remediation projects, initially in the earthwork area.  Duties will include reading of construction plans, quality assurance measurements, survey verification, progress tracking and completion of daily and weekly reports.

This person must maintain a professional attitude and appearance, be self motivated, work with limited supervision, and be able to identify solutions that solve customers’ needs.  They must also be able to work in a diverse team environment.

The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in the civil or environmental engineering/construction field, an associate’s degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field.  OSHA 40-hour certification is a plus.  Good writing and verbal communication skills are required to document and report on projects as is the ability to lift 50 lbs.

This is a full time position, which will require work beyond the normal work day including nights and weekends.  Salary is commensurate with experience and includes benefits and opportunity for profit sharing.  Aztech is a casual, friendly, fun, and hard working environment in Ballston Spa, NY.
