Health and Safety

Aztech Technologies personnel have had OSHA 40 hour training and NYS Labor Department / OSHA "right to know" training. Eight-hour refreshers are performed yearly. Employees are also trained in first aid and CPR.

Each employee is issued a safety gear bag with hard hat, ear, and eye protection, safety vest, gloves, respirator, dust masks and other safety related equipment.

Personnel performing specific tasks such as confined space entry, forklift operations, respirator use and ladder / harness use have been specifically trained. Employees are also issued job specific safety equipment.

Each company vehicle is equipped with a MSDS notebook, and a company specific Health and Safety Plan and Written Hazard Communication Plan. Each vehicle is also equipped with a first aid kit and fire extinguisher.

Each remediation site, including drilling sites and tank removals has a site specific health and safety plan developed and an MSDS file, if required.

Monthly safety meetings are held, with some topics being chosen by and presented by the employees.
