All work is performed in accordance with State Environmental and ASTM standards. Soil probing offers a quick and inexpensive technology to define site stratigraphy and delineate contaminant plumes, install monitoring wells and investigate property for real estate transactions. The rigs available from Aztech Technologies include a Foremost Mobile B3500. This rig offers more power and versatility than equipment of other manufacture. The drill is mounted on a four-wheel drive vehicle. Equipment includes both a soil probe hammer and rotary top heads. Operations can be switched from probing to drilling and back without moving the equipment from the hole. The Foremost/Mobile 3500 is equipped with a high torque rotary tophead, which enables the use of 6-5/8" hollow stem augers. The hydraulic mast drop enables operation in areas of low overhead clearance

Aztech Technologies offers versatile equipment to drill, core and install wells. The B3500 rig is configured to operate in areas of clearance of less than 10 feet (e.g. under canopies and inside buildings). The 308 Rig is capable of limited access (inside buildings, narrow spaces) and in areas where a remote power supply is needed. Drilling capabilities include:

  • 2" monitoring well installation with 4-1/4" hollow stem augers
  • 4" monitoring well installation with 6-5/8" hollow stem augers
  • 6" monitoring well installation with 8-1/4" hollow stem augers
  • Rock drilling with 4" and 6” down hole hammers or roller bits
  • Well decomissioning and grouting
  • Angle drilling, from horizontal to vertical
  • Geotechnical drilling
  • Soil vapor extraction and sparge point installation
  • NX Rock Coring
