Biological Enhancement
Aztech Technologies has experience using biological processes to remediate
petroleum contaminated groundwater and soil. Nutrients and oxygen are added
to the groundwater or soil to enhance the growth of microorganisms that consume
petroleum and speed bioremediation. Aztech Technologies has performed in situ
treatment including the injection of oxygen releasing compounds and ex situ
treatment including the construction of soil biopiles.
