Catalytic Oxidization
Aztech Technologies is experienced in the installation of Catalytic Oxidization
(Cat-Ox) systems for the removal of volatile compounds from vapor emissions.
These units are installed to treat the discharge from soil vapor extraction
systems when the volatile emissions from these systems exceed regulatory standards.
Effluent from the vapor extraction system is conveyed to a Cat-Ox unit, and
subsequently discharged to the atmosphere after thermal treatment. The Cat-Ox
unit typically consists of a propane-fired internal combustion engine and an electronic
control system.
