Specialized Equipment
Pilot Test Trailer - Rotary Lobe / Positive Displacement Blower System
The pilot test system is skid mounted and is equipped with a Roots rotary
lobe blower. This blower is capable of operating with air flow of up to 500
cubic feet per minute and vacuum levels of up to 15 inches of mercury. A cyclone
filter equipped with mist elimination is utilized to remove liquids and entrained
liquids from the air stream. Recovered liquids are pumped from the separator
into the portable water treatment equipment. Product is separated and removed
and water is treated and discharged. The air stream continues through a muffler
and can be treated by carbon adsorption or catalytic incineration if necessary.
All equipment is skid mounted and installed in an enclosed trailer. The control
system is designed so the system operates unattended.
This system can be used for:
- Emergency groundwater and product recovery
- Pilot test for remediation system design
Liquid Ring Blower System
This system consists of vacuum extraction and treatment equipment assembled
in an 8' x 20' shipping container. The container is insulated and fitted with
heat, light and ventilation. A 25 horsepower liquid ring vacuum pump is utilized
to produce vacuum applied to the well head(s). Soil vapor, water and fee product
enters the system and is separated through the primary cyclone filter. Free
product is separated out in a coalescing separator, equipped with a skimmer.
Water is then treated with a low profile air stripper and discharged through
carbon, if desired. The system is constructed to utilize air stream vapor
phase treatment if necessary. The entire system is constructed intrinsically
safe and with class 1 division 2 explosion proof electrical. The control system
is designed around programmable logic controllers, with the ability to read
faults and triggers and make changes in the field. The entire system was designed
and constructed by Aztech Technologies personnel. Additional systems are under
construction for specific clients and sites.
