Remediation Equipment Design
Remediation system design is site specific. The systems are designed to utilize the technology
that is best suited to the geology of the site and the client's budget. The systems are
designed to run with minimal attention and maintenance. They are energy efficient, thereby
reducing client operational costs. The key to the superiority of the equipment engineered by
Aztech is the control system. Instead of using a number of independently operating subsystems,
Aztech's remediation equipment is controlled by a centralized logic system. This logic system
is constructed of readily available, inexpensive components. Each subsystem uses input from
the others to operate only when needed. This attention to detail produces cost efficient
site remediation.
Remediation Equipment Construction
Equipment is pre-assembled at the shop. System construction is done to accommodate future
changes in site remediation. An example of this is a site which is utilizing pump and treat
to control plume migration and recover free product. This site may be a candidate for air
sparge in the future. Underground installation is done to accommodate these changes without
further excavation and disruption.
Remediation Equipment Installation
Remediation equipment is installed to provide easy maintenance when necessary. Aztech personnel
have experience in working with tank installation contractors and excavation and building
construction contractors to integrate the remediation system installation into existing
facility or new construction. This prevents further disruption of the site.
Remediation Equipment Monitoring and Maintenance
Aztech performs regular monitoring and maintenance for its remediation systems. Monitoring
is performed to optimize system performance and to ensure compliance with discharge regulations. Maintenance is performed to minimize downtime, maximize the lifetime of the system and to ensure that the system is adjusted for changing site conditions.
