Aztech Technologies installs Vacuum Enhanced Groundwater Extraction systems
to address soil and groundwater contamination. The vapor extraction component
of these systems produces a moderate vacuum which is applied to each well
at the site to recover volatile soil vapors. The groundwater extraction component
of the system utilizes multiple jet pumps or electric submersible pumps which
withdraw groundwater from a series of wells. Groundwater extracted via the
remedial system is treated via air stripping and polished with granular activated
carbon.
